BRAVIA Engine™ 2 fully digital video processor uses a collection of unique Sony® algorithms to significantly reduce noise, enhance overall image detail, and optimize contrast so every scene produces sharp, vibrant, life-like images.
Live Color Creation™ technology
Live Color Creation™ technology works in combination with a special WCG-CCFL backlight to refine colors and deliver a more realistic picture.
Motionflow™ 120Hz technology
Motionflow™ 120Hz technology doubles the number of frames in incoming video content by creating and inserting sixty entirely new frames between the existing sixty frames in real time. In addition to creating new frames, Motionflow™ 120Hz technology also includes an Image Blur Reduction algorithm, which reduces source image blur captured by the camera, as well as a de-juddering circuit to help reduce jerking and stuttering during sweeping pans. The end result is smoother, more fluid motion that delivers a natural and realistic viewing experience.
BRAVIA® Wireless Link module support
You don't have to sacrifice the slim, clean design of the Sony® BRAVIA KLV-40ZX1M LCD Flat Panel Monitor to connect your A/V and other HDMI components. With the BRAVIA Wireless Link module (sold separately) you can wirelessly transmit real-time, HD signals to a receiver (not included) hidden behind the LCD monitor.
